November 21st 2007 - 1pm - we are leaving the dock! / barometric pressure 1022 / 100% cloud cover / 4' to 10' swell /. 9pm / sleet rain / poor visibility / radar picks up a fast target, sounds alarm, when I did get out of the cabin I saw a search light direct heading towards us / uncoupled autopilot and did collision avoidance course / next moment I saw the searchlight flying over us / low flying small air plain - bastards!/ 22nd 2007 - 11am entering Cape cod canal / 9 pm found deserted slip in New Bedford for the night. I day rest in New Bedford. 11-24-07, destination Portsmouth which we see at 5pm / found marina where we could plug in our heater - what luxury! 11-25-07, Weather forecast is not good, wind and waves are against us - leaving for Mystic in Long island sound After rounding point Judith we head into a nearby harbor Galilee - no way to go against the elements. New Motor runs good except the starter - it has a dead spot (does not start some times) and might need to be replaced. GG

21 November 2007 - endlich koennen wir starten? Luftdruck 1022 / 100% Bewoelkung / Wellen bis 3 Meter hoch. 21 uhr / Schneeregen / schlechte Sicht / Radar zeigt ein schnelles Echo and der Alarm geht an / raus aus der Kabine und direkt in unsere Richtung sehe ich ein Scheinwerferlicht auf uns zukommen / Autopilot auskoppeln und Kollisions Ausweichmanoever fahren / im naechsten Moment sehe ich das Scheinwerferlicht direckt ueber mich / tief fliegendes kleines Flugzeug! Bastards!
22.11.07 - durch den Cape Code Kanal / 21 Uhr - finden verlassen Steg in New Bedford und bleiben fuer eine weitere Nacht dort. 24.11.07 - Ziel ist Portsmouth wo wir um 17 Uhr ankommen. Finden Marina mit elektrischem Anschluss und koennen den Heizluefter anschliessen - welch ein Luxus! 25.11.07 - Wetter Vorhersage ist nicht gut - Wind Stroemung und Wellen sind gegen uns / wir starten trotzdem und muessen bei Point Judith in den Hafen - kein vorankommen! Der neue Motor laeft gut - nur der Starter haengt manchmal - muss rapariert oder getauscht werden.
